....very nice & understanding manager in which I am most appreciative. Got into small disagreement which in turn, caused me to act like an _______(you can fille in the blank). After being redirected by my wife, I apologized which was taken very well considering my behavior. Thank you for that....and again, I will apologize. Good location close to highway. Clean nice rooms although I booked a "suite" that was no bigger than a standard room. It had a hot tub that I was excited to use but the jets were very weak and extremely loud, so loud I imagined other guests in the room below would be disturbed by it. After reading others reviews it seems that's an issue here. Our room was on the third floor. If the hot tubs are all this loud then they probably should be on the first level only. Or they need maintenance so they aren't so extremely loud. Over all good experience but it seems like some features need an upgrade. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and hard too.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had ever. We stayed last night on the 20-21st of October. Here for family night at UWSP. We got back to the hotel and swam at the pool. It was nice and the kids had fun. We got back to the room and were getting ready for bed and all of a sudden a motor kicked on above and near the head of our beds and by the bathroom. Very loud and caused vibrations in the walls. We thought it would quit like it started so we were patient. After about 10 minutes we were climbing in bed, it was about 12:15 or 12:30, and of course in the silence it was louder. I finally got up and found the gal on staff at the desk and asked about it. She didn't seem to know and said she would tell someone. I went back to our room to lay down and couldn't sleep because of the noise. I thought about what could be causing it and finally remembered they had whirlpools in some rooms. I went and got the girl on duty, brought her to the room and had her listen to the sound. She agreed it was loud and thought it was the jet spa. She said it it didn't shut off soon she would ask them to shut it off and left. Eventually the timer ran out or they shut it off and we got to sleep. In the morning I brought it up to the new gal at the desk. She seemed very unbothered and said she would let someone know, but didn't offer any discount or anything other than a sorry. It felt a lot like everyone knew this was a problem but how often does a guest run a spa at odd hours so just pacify the guest who doesn't sleep much that night. We specifically booked a higher price room to not have a poor experience. Poor design and poor customer service. Would not recommend.
